Starring:
  •  Chris Pratt as Peter Quill\Star - Lord :  the protagonist of the film, he is half human, half alien. He is the leader of the Guardians, which will fall in  love for Gamora. 
              
              

  • Zoe Saldana as Gamorra: she is an alien ,is orphan and an assassin which was trained by the villain Thanos. To bring this character to life it was only used make up rather then computer generated imagery (CGI) 





  • Dave Bautista as Drax, The Destroyer : he is a muddier grey warrior, he seeks revenge against Ronan for killing his family. It takes around 4 hours to apply all the make-up to give life to the character

The filming began on July 6,2013 in Shepperton Studious, situated on the capital of England, London. The filmimg was finished by October 12, 2013.
During post-production James Gunn decided to use motion-capture and CGI as an aid .

The film was released on July21, 2014 in Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and in United Kingdom (in theatre) on Agust 1 , 2014.
The target audience was young adult males between their 19-25 .

Marketing Tools Used:

  • Poster : in each poster it shows each of the four main characters of the film with their name at the top of the poster. 



  • Blog: in this blog you can learn a lot more about more the movie especially the main characters; buy tickets; create a gif of yourself and much more. You have a wide range of choices.There is presence of synergy : facebook, twitter, pinterest and the website. 





  • Facebook: It has 1,885,531 likes in the page. This might be one of famous marketing tools that films probably use to advertise their film.










  • Twitter: 170k followers 









  • Teaser Trailers 1, 2 and 3 : this teaser trailers are like tips for what the movie is about, making the audience be curious and hype for the upcoming release. They create tension. These trailers are usually done before the film is completely done, the video may feature scenes that may not appear on the actually film.

































  • Official  Trailer : this a more completed trailer, you hear more dialogue but of course never spoiling the film.The scenes in the video might not be in order when it comes to the film.
