2) What is box office?

    •       This is a place where tickets are sold to the people\public, so they can watch a film. You can find these in the cinema or theater. This is useful to identify the success of a film because the more tickets are sold, the more money is raised which will influence the success of the film . When the film is successful most of the ticket revenue goes to the film distributor and the rest to the movie studio money . Cinemas make their money by selling popcorn, food, soft drinks, snacks, ice creams and sometimes meals. Also they cinemas earn money by screen advertising which occurs before a movie starts. To encourage  audiences ,cinemas try to offer the best commodity and assistance to the customer, they try to have a wide and variety of films to have more customers.

  •       Ancillary markets are basically non-theatrical markets. E.g. DVD's, Video Games. These markets offer a range of choices without the need of the person to go out of home , so you can still spend time with family and friends but in a cheaper way, which a lot of people have been choosing to do in the last few years.
