Editing

Editing took us, of course, longer than actually filming the swede, but it allowed us to use more tools, special for editing. We firstly started off, looking through all the film footage and chose which clips we wanted to keep and which we wanted to lose. This did take up a bit of time because we did have quite a lot of clips to look through and at points there were difficult decisions on which clips we wanted to keep. But once we got that done, we began to put all the clips into one film, we edited each clip, by selecting which part of that clip we wanted to keep, for pressing ‘I’ (for start) and then ‘O’ ( for out). Once we completed the basic layout of the film, we began choosing the music we would want to have in the final swede. We sourced our sound from “Garage band”, we choose our sound from a series of sounds. Garage band was an essential part of the swede because it allowed us to source as much sound as we wanted, to create our perfect final production swede.  Once we chose the sound, we then had to convert it into a suitable file to use in ‘I Movie’. Once we sorted out the sound, we then started adding in captions and transitions to make it look interesting. And once we finished our swede editing we had to export it and upload it to YouTube to present it to the audiences.
